Address: 1 Nikola Kanev Str., Varna
Year of completion: 2020
Investor: Private individual
Project information:
The building was originally designed in 1923 as a tobacco warehouse named “Nikotea.” It served for the processing of raw tobacco until 1940, after which its ownership changed.
The restoration of the building represents a careful blend of historical authenticity and contemporary design. On the facade, the characteristic stone masonry from the time of its construction has been restored. Internal redevelopments were carried out, including a new staircase with an elevator shaft, as well as a new conference hall with a lobby bar. Modern materials and design solutions have been integrated into the interior, creating a harmonious unity with the historical details. The goal is for the building to retain its historical identity while acquiring a refreshed and functional modern appearance.
